Paq Mochila/ Correos on the Camino Finisterre

I will walk part of the Sanabres in September and in Santiago a friend will join me to walk to Finisterre and Muxia. She prefers to have her backpack transported although she would not mind walking a day with it. I do not have a clue how to start booking seeing I never use this helpline. I see...

    Help getting lodging past Sarria

Well, then I am not " most people " though I am pretty sure more think like me. I like Finisterre aka Fisterra but I prefer the last hundred kilometers from any Camino entering Santiago. Looking forward to entering via the Camino Sanabres in September.

Paulo Coelho's "The Pilgrimage" to be made into a Netflix movie

IMO it is utter drivel. Shallow content and full of clichés. But of course " de gustibus non est disputandum". There is more literature to find in my collection of Tintin.

    Picking an accommodation

Gronze has a good list of all types of accomodation. https://www.gronze.com/camino-norte Be aware that many coastal towns on the Norte are favourite places for Spaniards themselves. It can be quite busy in summer and tricky to find affordable rooms.

Where do ( did ) you walk locally in 2024?

7.5 kilometers around the block. Bit of everything.

A call for regulation or permit on the Francés

I am merely posting an objective fact. I have no intention at all to talk religion here seeing it is against the forumrules. It beats me why you would put a laughing emoji under my post. But again " De gustibus non est disputandum ".

I hope it is ok that the locals sit on the benches? You know, the ones who pay the taxes in Spain for these benches.
