So my Portuguese Camino is taking a big longer than expected due a sore right shin.
I will not be able to walk to the coast. I am trying to decide if I should take a bus.
My question .. Is it worth while taking a bus to the coast .. Or should I just enjoy Santiago.
Dora the explorer...
Hi All,
Start from Porto on Nov 6 - my 50th! I will head south from the Cathedral, follow Rio Douro to the coast which should add a day I guess. Plan to head inland at Vila de Conde .... and then ... sometime after that I will get to Santiago.... there is no rush.
Do I really need a walking stick for the Porto to Santiago route. I have hiked/ backpacked many times over the years and never used a walking stick.
Advice ..?
