My husband and I are walking part of the coastal route, Porto to Vigo, from September 1 - 9. Is is necessary to book albergues in advance? We have started to book but would really prefer some flexibility on sone days in the middle. Thank you in advance.
We are looking at booking a bus from Baiona to Vigo,theVigoto Ponferrada in September. The latest I can obtain results on the ALSA website is late June. No results for September. Is this typical? Is the app better? Thank you.

Are hiking poles required for the Porto to Vigo portion of the Coastal route? I looked at Gronze and the elevation does not appear to be too bad. We are flying from Canada. I would prefer to leave our poles behind if we can manage without them. We walked CF in 2018 and Tour du Mont Blanc...

We are staying at the alberque in Roncesvalles in May. Is it a good plan to eat the dinner and breakfast there or dinner at one of the other places in Roncesvalles and breakfast a few kms away from Roncesvalles? Just looking for other people's experiences. TIA!
