We stayed in Catoria on April 26th at the Harpazul Apts, modern and expensive but only place open in February when we booked. The few hotels before you reach Catoria may be open now. This area is beautiful but not pilgrim friendly.
We just completed our Camino-taking the Spiritual Variante-and we didn’t take the boat. The Camino is barely marked. And we could find no place with stamps. But we did get our Compostela.
We went yesterday at around 5 and got in immediately. It is first come first served. There is a QR code in front and if you have wifi you can fill in the form online which will expedite process. Ver basic form.

We have read that the fuentes along the Camino are a safe source for drinking water, are they? We are trying to avoid plastic bottles accumulation and stomach issues. Thanks
