    Bus to Santiago airport

    Excellent way to end Camino with early flight is to sleep at airport. And extra challenge is to walk to airport. Bit over 10km. You will see plenty of pilgrims arriving happily to SdC. For me it was a nice way to say goodbye to Camino! 🌻🌞

    Albergues at 100% capacity ?

    Now at 20th day and close to Ponferrada in Camino Franche. I have seen 2 albergas Completo / full. Some are opening up as covid starts to be "over" and people are returning. I have not booked any place in advance. I have power to hike to next village if needed. Everything has worked fine!

    I would reserve one dormitory for people who cough. I assume this would be a nice Message that now it is time to cosider other sleeping places. If you cough just take your stuff and go to cough-dormitory.

    My experience in past days. In every dormitory 1 - 3 people cough. That should not happen. Only health people should be in alberga dormitories. I wonder what cold be a good way to handle this? This has potential to make albergued into covid places. And even endanger the whole concept....

    I am in Carrion de Los Condes. Started on SJPP on 4/4. 13th day on Camino. My travel insurance covers the isolation cost in any case. And cost small. I would not worry about them. Back to camino and slow enough is my priority. Flying back on May 13th so I have time.

    Orisson Open?

    Drove with today (3th April) through Pyrenees. Max 30cm snow = very heavy to walk and downhills must be dangerous. I gave pictures but could not get them uploaded here. Decided not to go through mountains and opted for street.
