Tunnel Route
I walked this route in April 2010, possibly a bit too early in the year as I experienced bad weather. I flew into Biaritz and took a short train journey to Irun, where there is an albergue. There are only 2 other albergues until you reach the French route but there are hotels at reasonable...- davededub

Advice for the Camino Primitivo
Hi Nathanael, I walked the Primitivo in the last 2 weeks of September 2010 and recommend it highly. Its not easy but not as difficult as I had feared. I found the waymarking to be excellent.
