Hi everyone,
Plans are underway to start the Camino Ingles in September! We are aiming to walk it in 8 days, 1 of those days we plan on taking a rest day in one of the towns on the route. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which place would be the best/most interesting to spend a whole day...
Thanks again, Pete. We'll probably do 1 or 2 longer days anyway as we hope to spend an extra day in one of the towns along the way, not sure which one, I'll have to do some more research to see where is worth spending an extra day.
Thanks for the reply. Looking at it, it seems cheaper and just as quick to fly to Santiago. We'd also like our luggage stored there so will also save on shipping the luggage from A Coruna. Thanks for the alternative suggestion though!
Thanks Peter,
We're really hoping it's possible to get straight to Ferrol on the day we arrive, that will give us a little of Saturday and the whole of Sunday there and we start our Camino on the Monday. I'll wait until the schedules have been published and see if we can swing it that way.
Hi everyone.
I have finally started planning our Camino next year (mid September) We plan to do the Ingles over 9 days taking it easy and soaking up some of the little towns along the way. We are then travelling down to Calp for our annual dancing holiday (more questions related to that on...
This is great! We are hoping to walk the Camino Ingles next spring and wanted to make it a pleasurable, leisurely walk and this looks about perfect for us!
Thank you very much.
Thanks for the welcome!
Wow, a lot of information there, thanks for taking the time to point me in the direction needed :)
I've not done the North Wales Pilgrim way, but have done a bit of walking/hill walking/a little rock climbing in North Wales. It's such a beautiful place and at one point...
Thank you for the welcome and reply. We are hopefully going to go for private rooms but we know that this may not always be possible, so we are prepared for that. We have lots of time to prepare both physically and planning wise. This forum is already proving to be a real gem!
Thank you for your reply.
Ideally we would like to do a complete camino so will look into the 2 you have mentioned. We're not doing it for quite a while so things may well change. I am desperate to do it next spring but we just can't manage it with other commitments. I'm gonna stick around here...
Hi everyone,
My name is Gerald and I live in Pembrokeshire, Wales. I have been thinking about doing the Camino de Santiago and having looked into it a bit more, I realise it is not just one route. I will be doing this with my wife, I was hoping next year but that is unlikely to happen. We don't...
