Hi David,
I desperately wanted to travel the world when I left school and I managed to take the 1st step, and then my friends left after 1 month and I returned home with them as I didn't feel that I was confident enough to do it alone. That is one of my biggest regrets in my life.
You have taken...
Hi Kari,
I have enjoyed your posts, thank you for sharing your honest experiences.
I am starting the Primitivo next Sunday and looking forward to it, I hope to stay away from the electric fences though..
Hi Kari,
Thanks for the updates, I start the same route in 2 weeks. I have only booked a hostel in Oviedo, was hoping to wing it from there..May have to look a bit closer now.
Buen Camino
Thanks for the replies.
I have tried the Talon 33 and it was very comfortable, as is my other Osprey.
Great advice re the personal item bag.
Thanks again all.
Hi All,
I have a 20l Osprey pack, which I was hoping to take in May on the Primitivo, however I am now looking at the Talon 33 but have just come across Lundhag Jamten 35 and it is carry on size and at a reasonable £65.
Has anyone had any experience with the brand or this model?
I am looking for...
Hi Francesinhus,
Did you manage to get your credencial stamped in the cathedral either late Saturday evening or early Sunday as I will have the same problem on my arrival this May?
I will arrive about 6pm Sat and was hoping to set off early on Sunday.
Many thanks
Scott
Hi Pixel,
I am going to change my return flight after reading the replies to your post as I am keen to spend a day at Lugo.
I stupidly only had 12 days to complete as my return flight left at 10:30 from Santiago. I am moving my return flight back 2 days so I can relax and enjoy the scenery and...
Hi Pixel,
I am doing the Primitivo as my first Camino in May this year, and I will be solo. I am a little nervous to be honest but also very excited.
I did have a look at the others and this one appealed to me the most due to the hills and scenery.
I am comfortable alone, but I am hoping to meet...
Hi Barb,
Thanks for your reply.
I have watched a few YouTube videos and from the messages above including yours, I am going to stick to the path, that is unless I get lost :).
thanks for all of you input everybody.
Hope you get to do I again soon.
Dbier, thanks for your comment.
I will try my best to stay on the path, but if I stray there is like you say a possible next time.
Living in England I am used to the fluctuating weather and to be fair being a ginge, if it is misty it saves using some suncream, every cloud...
Buen Camino for 25
Thanks. I have seen the dam crossing on a video log and I will have to prepare myself for that..
Hopefully I will have the company of other pilgrims at that stage too.. Or I may crawl
Thank you.
That is true. I have surprised myself a few times and even managed to walk over a glass floor, it did take me about 30mins to get the courage.
Well done for completing your moment of reckoning..
Thanks for the photos. The forested switchbacks look ok, similar to a small mountain near Bergen Norway, and that was ok.
Your last picture is stunning, looking forward to seeing that in person.
