General Sureste blurb and updated contacts.

Great. I love it, going back in July (2015) to finish it. As you probably know there are full guides available (not in English) and lots of smaller ones for individual sections. If I were to write a guide, I would have one for the sights to see, correct routes etc...but I would have an online...

The camino Mozarabe from Almeria spring 2015

Hi...George is right about the trail in the rain...can be treacherous. I found the mud constantly caking on my boots...getting bigger and bigger, making walking almost impossible.10k will feel like 100k. When the trail is dry...its stable and well marked. A solitary route but not difficult. Know...

    New waymarking on Mozárabe

Peter Robbin`s GPX files for Malaga to Cordoba are accurate too. As for olive groves or anywhere else...gps on a mobile phone is great for any mis steps you make. I use Osmand...its free and takes a while to get used to but I would NEVER walk without it.

    Malaga Camino - Mozarabe!

I recently walked from Malaga to Castro del Rio, just short of Cordoba as I ran out of time. As usual, I was wild camping most of the time but hid in some albergues when the weather was thunderstorm level. As ever, I would recommend learning Spanish to some degree as you will struggle otherwise...

Hi George, sounds like you had a good time. Hope you got home safe. Its too hot for me at the moment so I am hiding in Scotland till things cool down in Spain. Camino de Sureste

Here is a scan of a small pamphlet I picked up. It seems to be up to date as far as the refugios i used. As you can see, it only goes as far as Caudete region goes. This seems to be normal as far as I can see. All the minor assosciations look after their own patch and have their own websites. I...

    Camino de Sureste

I emailed Paco about his guide. It is only available as a hardcopy..no ebooks or pdf. Thats a shame...I use my phone for everything these days (and small solar panel to charge.) ...the days of lugging books about are gone. For me at any rate.ohwell.

45 ltr bag for Del Norte route

well, i did the norte last october and there were a few mornings with puddles frozen over towards the end. I had a two season sleeping bag and wore everything i had at night.
