We started in Pamplona just after Easter but were felled by repeated bouts of bronchitis. We returned to Maine in the end of April. Not to be defeated, we returned to León in October and completed our Camino.

We started our first day on the Camino from Pamplona intending to take it easy and stop at Zariquiegui. Unfortunately the Albergue was closed and we had to go up the muddy mountain and down through the rocks to Utergi.
Due to the snow in the Pyrenees, we are figuring to start in Pamplona in early April. However, since we really wanted to see the Monestery also, we were we wondering if we could just get a bus or something to Yesa and walk to Puente la Reina from there. Where are the places to stay and eat on...
