I know I saw a post on the forum before about this topic but I am struggling to find it.
I believe there is a way mark at Porto airport - if this is the case, can I find the Central Route easily?
Many thanks
David
Happy Christmas first of all.
I have flights booked for another stroll from Porto in September.
I think I will take the central route this time. having walked the coastal twice.
I want to walk the Ingles from A Coruna again so I might travel up from Tui - we shall see.
Anyway, lots of time...
I walked from Porto to Santiago in April. I have just completed writing about my experience if you would like to read.

I have been away from the forum for some time although I have been lurking.

I am back from Santiago three weeks and I have today booked my flights to return to the Camino Portugués for April 2023.
A long ways away but something to look forward to.
Until then, I can keep writing up my posts after my most recent Camino.

Buen Camino from Ireland!

Since a trip to Spain is out of the question this year, I walked a while with some pilgrim friends at home in Dublin. It was the first time I had seen them since lockdown in March.

Due to Covid-19, Camino Society Ireland have decided that we should close the Information Centre in Dublin for 4 weeks, starting from March 19th. At the moment the planned pilgrim blessing will go ahead on March 28th.
Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you to all our volunteers.
Our final walk of the year. Nice to move out of Dublin.
Next walk will be in Tipperary in Lough Boora on January 25th. Come along!

Buen Camino!
Hi folks
I am due to walk from Lisbon on the 8th of Sept for 10 days. My 2nd jaunt of the year. I am hoping to meet a pilgrim friend there.
If not, I may travel to Porto and walk from there as I like mixing with people.
Just wondering if anyone has traveled by train from Lisbon to Porto and can...
Hi all
I arrived back to Dublin after a short walk through Galicia.
We started out in Ferrol and walked to Betanzos. Those few days were quiet with rolling hills and scattered showers. I enjoyed the walk out of Ferrol. The following day, we travelled back to A Coruna and continued on the Celtic...
Quick question
I've walked from A Guarda to Santiago last May but I fancy walking some of the Portuguese in September. I have two weeks so arriving in Santiago is not essential.
Which is a preferable starting point, Porto or Lisbon?
Cheers all
David
