Eating my favorite ice cream as I'm typing this. Just arrived from the Easter vigil mass and to the freezer I went straight as soon as I got back home...... I've been good in not touching this at all for the whole time of lent. Now I'm indulging myself!:-).....Happy Easter pilgrims!!!!
Joining this thread as I need to buy new pair of very comfy walking shoes too ( keeping an eye on good advise out here)....I did end up with a tendonitis on my third day of hiking in the Camino ..,,. good thing I only did the last 110 km! Ended up buying a cheap but very comfy trainers in Arzua...
Will join this thread as I need new walking shoes (still need to read everyone's comments here)....I agree, hiking boots is not necessary in Camino.....A comfortable walking shoes is all you need. .... This is based on my experience although I've only done the 110 Kms from Sarria!
Wish I have read all of these prayers before I went for the pilgrimage but nevertheless I prayed the rosary the whole time I've been walking for 5 days. Miracles just kept pouring on me....sooo amazing, overwhelming and humbling experience it was!
Truly God answers prayers and never abandons...

Thanks Cheynee.... Ankle is not that swollen now... Been elevating it plus cold compress and bandage seems to be helping a lot..,.and oh some anti inflammatory tablets and cream too! I really hope I can resume tomorrow.

I am in the Camino right now as I am typing this message. I'm supposed to be on my 4rth leg of the walk when my ankle became swollen.
I have started in Sarria too and yes before this ankle became swollen, was planning to finish the walk for 5 days.Today will be a rest day for...
I'm in Portomarin now in a comfy alburgues....:-).....was blessed with a Very nice weather today.....no proper rain, just a quick moderate one then really nice after that! In fact the sun is out right now. Just looking forward to my pilgrim's birthday dinner soon!!!!;-)
