About the weather: we just returned from hiking Le Puy to Conques. Started May 29 and finished 10 days later. We are 3 60-something guys from New Jersey - Mike, Gary and me (Charlie) - and are also starting from Le Puy on May 29. Only going as far as Conques. Not much French in the group. Already booked accommodations through CaminoWays. Bon chemin.- Charlie Robinson
