First off, thank you all for your input. This forum has proven to be invaluable for my upcoming trip. You all rock :)
Next two questions:
I land in Madrid at 8:30 and bought an ALSA bus ticket for 10:45. This is, of course, if everything goes off without a hitch. Have any of you transferred...
Hey all, ALSA and Movelio won't accept my debit card. Transactions keep getting denied. I called Bank of America and they said it's nothing on their end. Do you know what I can do to buy this ticket ahead of time?
Thanks so much for your help! Here's what I'm doing - taking an ALSA bus to Pamplona, then having Express Bourricot take me to SJPdP (directly from Pamplona)
Update and GOOD NEWS! The 10:45-15:35 bus is in the AM, correct? (my flights lands at 8:30 AM) If so, there's a 15 Euro special going on apparently. Seems to good to be true, but hopefully it's not. Also, Express Bourricot has offered to take me from Pamplona to SJPdP for 100 Euros, so I'm going...
Thanks! Which would you recommend - bus or train to Pamplona? I came across a Conda bus which leaves directly from the airport it looks like. If this is true, that'd be great .My flight lands at 8:30 AM, and it looks like the bus leaves Pamplona at 6 PM, correct?
Thanks!
Thanks for your information. Very helpful. It's looking like going through Pamplona is the way to go. Easiest, at least. And I plan on splitting up my Camino into two trips. You?
Perfect, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. I'm having trouble booking it online - it's saying:
The train consulted is not available for sale right now. Try again later and sorry for the inconvenience .
Know anything about this?
Okay, so I'm seeing that a LOT is closed in February. As useful as all of that information is and as thankful for it as I am, it's a bit confusing trying to figure out what's open and what's not. Can you all give me YOUR best opinion on the way to get there, since I guess Feb. is an off month?
Hello everyone! I can't believe the time is here. My ticket is booked... I'll be flying into Madrid on Friday, Feb. 27 at 8:30 AM and need help getting transportation to St. Jean Pied de Port in order to start walking by the next morning.
I'll be doing the Camino in two stages so will also...
