We have just finished our Camino walk. No problems with accommodation. Crowds have lessened. Be careful to add extra mountainess stretches. It is trying as is. Buen Camino
So sad to hear of your big loss. Some tips: backpack no bigger than 35l. ; a pair of hiking poles would help especially for the 1st part as far as Pamplona i did not buy a new sim card. In nearly all the places wifi is available. I taped my toes and heel daily and never had blisters.

Good for you. Was bedridden myself with 3 pelvis fractures, broken collarbone, pierced lung and in traction in hospital for 50 days after a cycle accident. My focus was set on spiritual wellbeing(I considered it a retreat!) as well as participating 2 years later in the Cape Argus Cycle tour which...
Find them on the web and write to them. I think they are closed for the winter and only opens end January. Not sure though. They will reply as soon as their new season starts.
Hi There
I cannot imagine how you must feel. My husband and myself could only do 1 week from SJPDP to Pamplona. I experienced the symptoms you are talking about. I still ponder on the wonderful moments on the mountain. I definately want to finish this adventure/experience!

Hi Karen
I shall attempt my first Camino at age 64 but do not feel older than 46! We plan to take the bus but as far as I know it goes only to Roncesvalles and not further. That is why I was asking about a taxi to take me down to SJPdP
