So I am 1 month to "go time!" I can't believe I'm really doing this!
So as I've mentioned before, my friend and I are walking 5 days and that will span SJPP (Valcarlos route) through to Puente la Reina. We will then be on leg 2 of our European vacation which departs from the Camino...
We will be leaving SJdPP Aug. 13, 2016. We've heeded all the advice to take the first bit slooooow!
Please send me your recommendations for day 1: head to Orisson or to Valcarlos? Pros & Cons, please.
We then plan to hopefully make it to Roncesvalles on day 2, as we only have 5 days in total...
