Hola!
Does anyone have any particular suggestions for the Portuguese during Semana Santa? I was in Jaca and Pamplona last year during Holy Week and REALLY enjoyed the nightly processions, etc. Does Portugal celebrate to the same extent, or would I be better planning to get to Tui by then...
I believe Easter is April 16th this year. Holy week was wonderful in Pamplona last year; I'm trying to decide whether it would be better to be in Portugal or Spain this year. Has anyone been on the Portugues during Semana Santa? Any particularly good town festivities?
Many thanks!
So glad to hear about other peregrinos doing the Portuguese in April! I'm planning to start from Porto about April 1. Has anyone been on this Camino during Holy Week? Last year I was in Jaca the first half of the week and Pamplona the second before starting the Frances. The Processions were...
Starting in Jaca during Semana Santa. Does anyone have suggestions for accommodation? Also how difficult is it to walk the road from San Juan de Pena to Santa Cruz? Many thanks!

PLEASE let us know how your adventure works out! (and where you catch the bus). Are you going to stay in SDdS? Anxious to hear your report!

Thanks for the insightful -- and encouraging! -- reply! Strange: I couldn't find the kindle version of G&D on the UK Amazon site, but it is on Amazon US! Great suggestion! Yes, I'm capable of wanting to do/see too much, but it's all just so fascinating! And I hope we meet sometime on one or...
