I get what you mean... felt the same way too this year (Camino Frances July/August 2016). It feels a bit like culture shock after Sarria. It was not peaceful and I felt very lost in the crowd. Hi Joseph, I think that our plan so far is to travel a day or two earlier by train to Bayonne, but thank you for the heads up about a ride share. I will let you know if our plans change.
