    Rather than a solar charger i would take a power bank. They're small, cheap, and you can leave it charging without worrying about losing an expensive phone and then charge your phone from the power bank.

    Starting Camino Frances June 15. Some quick questions!

    I took a fleece jacket with me in July/August and questioned why I brought it all the way until I reached Galicia where it was cold, windy, and raining. When I go again I plan to take a similar fleece jacket.

    I always took mine inside with me (in my hands and not on my back) but most of the time it was only to buy something and then sit outside. I never left it outside and unattended anywhere.
