Rail strike
As others have already said, don't worry. My train from Bayonne to SJPP was cancelled due to strike action on 2 March. There were some others there in the same predicament. So after an interesting start to my Camino, I made it to Roncevalles yesterday. We were advised by the Pilgrim office in SJPP not to use the trails as they were considered dangerous after the recent bad weather. This made for a fairly gruelling grind on the road after Valcarlos. So, I'm stuck in Bayonne! Arrived in Biarritz last night with the intention of taking a train to SJPP today, only to find the train cancelled! There is 1 bus at 18:00 from Bayonne station. So the adventure begins!- Keith Hassan
