Crossing this bridge would be slick and slippery. Arriving here had been difficult since the CF path from Zubiri was covered with ice and snow; I had mainly walked on the verges of route N-135.
For many recent posts re walking in autumn ie October/November see this earlier thread. The days can be golden but you must be prepared for cold. In past years it was my favorite time to walk.
Whenever/wherever you do go Buen camino.

describes a special exhibition of paintings and choir carpet of Notre-Dame cathedral restored after the 2019 fire and presently visible at the Mobilier national where they were restored. These works will only be visible there...
