I am still in the planning stage for June this year. Unfortunately for various reasons I only have a small window to walk this year. I had planned to walk to SdC and then onto Finisterre. My question is, is it possible to walk to Finisterre and then onto SdC? I'm aware that I can walk anywhere...
Hi,
Some of you may have seen this question recently. I posted a question on the wrong forum, not realising that there were different forums for the Portuguese route from Porto.
I have read that it could be a good plan to walk 2 days along the coastal route and then follow the central route...
Moderators Note: I moved this from the Coastal forum as Eric will mostly be walking on the Central.
Having walked from SJPdP to Santiago in 2019 , I am now considering the Portuguese route from Porto, ending at Finisterre, via Santiago.
So y question is, can anyone suggest "nit too be ,missed "...
Having walked from SJPdP to Santiago in 2019 at the age of 70, I am off again next year. Has anyone any favourite Albergue that shouldn't be missed?
Thanks
Eric
I walked the Camino Frances last year and I recall passing a small Albergue, which I think was hosted by Italian monks (I could be wrong). I think it had no electricity and was lit by candles. Not sure what they did about hot water though!
Does anybody know where this is and have you stayed...
I start my camino from SJPdP on 29th May. I have 4 pairs of good quality merino wool socks and will not be wearing liners. I may change into a fresh pair of socks half way through the day.
My question is, do I need to wash my socks daily?
I have been reading various threads on sock liners.
I will be leaving St Jean on 29th May. I have 3 pairs of good merino wool short socks and will be using Columbia walking shoes. I also have anti chafing stick for the day and some massaging cream for the end of the day. Do I need sock liners...
Hi,

I have already booked my 1st...
I land at Pamplona at13:10 on 28th May and thee is bus departing at 14.30 from the bus station. Will I be able to get to the bus station in time?
