Sorry to bother you all with this dumb question but I am struggling with the location of the train station in Biarritz. From memory my wife and I walked there from the Hotel de Port Neuf but Google Maps shows it to be the other side of the airport.
Can anyone elucidate for me?
Many thanks and...
My wife and I are looking at doing this Camino in a few weeks but she has been reading online that accommodation costs are high compared to the Frances.
Can anyone confirm, deny or clarify this for us?
Muchas gracias y buen Camino
My wife and I were going to give this year a miss as far as doing a Camino is concerned and we started to look at alternative walks. Our original plan was do do the Francés again but we are worried about the large numbers of people, sharing rooms in albergues etc. So we will probably do the CF...

Apologies as I am sure there is a thread for it. However, my wife and I finished our first Camino on 25th October...it was bloody wonderful and we loved it...(in spite of one or three very sweary days!!)...

We fly out on Monday and start walking on Wednesday...excited and slightly nervous as it is our first time...
Hoping for decent weather but prepared for pretty much anything...
Buen Camino!
Dear all,
We plan to arrive (hopefully) in SDC on 25th October. We would then like to fly home from there to the UK, preferably anywhere south of (but including) Birmingham. I know that there is a flight from Santiago to Stansted on the 26th and also on 29th. Booking the 26th seems like too...
Dear all,
My wife likes to eat fruit every day. So I was just wondering what fruit might be available to eat on the Camino in late September and October?
Thanks

I was having a discussion about this with my wife, the other night. Her view (and this is before we have completed it for the first time) is that there are so many great long distance walks, why do...
Please help me out here...
This will be our first Camino and one of the first things I learned was that there is no need to book alburgues you just turn up.
I have just read a thread below with some trepidation as it talks about full accommodation and no beds available. Also saying that you...
As a follow up to my earlier post, we want to stay in SJPDP for two nights before setting off...we thought it would be nice to spend a day walking around the town as we are going to arrive in the evening...
I have temporarily reserved Maison Simonenia. Does anyone know this place and is it ok...
I humbly apologise in advance but I have looked at the train times and I am not sure exactly what I am seeing...
We plan to arrive (via Ryanair) at Biarritz at 17.05 on 23rd September. According to what I believe is the timetable, the last train leaves Bayonne at 17.53 for SJPDP. After that it...
Hi,
My name is Patrick and my wife and I are planning to walk the Camino Frances in September this year.
I have no questions right now but I am sure there will be some as we get nearer the time.
All the best,
Patrick
