Now I know it's not a pilgrimage, but has anyone done the through hike on the GR11.
I fancied doing it this year, bought a guidebook, but found the lack of clear information on accomodation off-putting, and did the Camino Norte instead.

This is very much my opinion, but may be very relevent for anyone walking the Camino on the more recognised routes; Frances, Portugues, Norte and Finesterre / Muxia.
The waymarking was, in my experience, excellent on all routes and can be relied upon to direct you from place to place easily...
