I hiked the Portuguese coastal route from Porto to Santiago, including Senda Litoral, last year Sept 21-Oct 7. Was a great time to hike. The weather was good but unseasonably warm then. Bom Camiño!

I hiked Porto to Santiago coastal and senda Litoral routes, and spiritual variant from Sept 21- Oct 6, and had hot, sunny weather with no rain. Apparently it poured rain the last two weeks of October and they had flooding. Hard to predict what Oct, 2024 will be like.

This is interesting. I’m hiking the coastal route starting from Porto in mid-September and I’ve gone from worrying about being alone to worrying about too many pilgrims and no place to stay. I’ve decided to stop worrying about all of it and trust that the Camino will provide.
