I'm envious...maybe. Everyone is so different in how they respond to training. You may do just fine. However, my knee problems started decades ago when I was taxing my joints working on a farm lifting hay bales, movng rocks, etc. Not to mention that skiing accident...Point is, it all counts...

I am astounded by the commitment that it took to document this hike. Not to mention what it took to do this hike at all. I'm absolutely certain that there was ample time in that 2600 miles for reflection.
I am convinced beyond current reason that time slows when one is having a less than wonderful time but speeds up when immersed in pleasant ventures especially when anticipation of such ventures is pending.
Heceta Head to lighthouse and Hobbit Beach on the Oregon coast. Not long trails at all but steep, muddy and magical. My new trail shoes are filthy and christened with Hobbit mud.
