LIVE from the Camino A new threat to my pilgrim tolerance and zen-like state of relaxation

If you don't want this, there are so many beautiful more peaceful other caminos. When you choose to go on Camino Frances you can only expect this. It's a choice..

WHY would you do a winter camino?

Yes I agree, in fact most Caminos are very solitary (Sureste, Levante, Lana, Madrid,...), the Frances is the exeption which is crowded. Not necessary to do this camino in winter for the only reason to be alone as you can try the others in summer..

    We are Wimps!

We choose to do the camino for fun. The soldiers choose to train to carry heavy loads as a living. The porters carry very heavy loads for money to live (maybe they don't have the choice,..) These situations are incomparable, each one does not have the same training, nor the same reasons.

    Luggage Storage While Walking Camino

... which means you would have to pull along your suitcases across the Pyrennees,.... so better to get rid of them at SJPP. Why do you think the shipping will be higher if you mail them from within Spain ? I would have thought the opposite.

    Foot care during training

It's interesting for me to learn from you as I often suffer from blisters. I am supprised that foot lubrification prevents blisters because does it not soften the foot whereas it's usually hardened feet that prevents blisters ? cher99840 : when you say "Every couple of hours I changed out the...
