My hobby is to enhance these Street View panos into "virtual tours" along with flyovers, sat nav, elevations etc but it is a big job and I tend to get bored and head off to another trail (or country) and come back later. At present I am doing last 6 days of Frances (from O Cebreiro) and it was...
If you are into spending time doing prep then the best way is to actually LOOK at the trails in Google Maps via Street View panos - there are 200 billion of them - you will find a great number of trail "types"
Yes this is what I was doing using OutdoorActive as stated above.
To use simply press START and put in pocket and at end press STOP
Then you can import to Google Earth as both a STATIC file of the route and as a dynamic file so when you play the file it goes at correct speeds and pauses where...
Yes it is confusing and with respect it would be better if the OP simply said what she WANTS, but if she really is after a recorder (eg to import into Google Earth and make a flyover?) then OutdoorActive is the one I use for such tasks.
She can actually PAUSE it for a coffee break or simply...
Pity about Sarah who seems to have been fully "reformed" in her The Way "outcomes" (as we must say now for 2020s monetary policies) so we don't see her any more.
She will in fact do another Camino but it will be like Shirley McClain and she will keep reciting her mantra of "do not talk to...
Well another thread here says Tom heads off to do some good for OTHERS pro bono as an eye doctor in the jungle some place for Doctors without Borders (or maybe Fred Hollows Foundation) or whoever rather than return to a Camino trail - but we are also told Jack contacts him with some "ground...
What is the queimada spell?
The Conxuro da Queimada is the reading of an ancient “spell” from the Galician tradition. Some say this dates back to Celtic times. It is believed to have begun when Paganism was widely practiced in Galicia (the final state along the Camino de Santiago to the...
I know you will all jump down my throat for asking but who is Johnny Walker - the one on the scotch bottle? (still walking) or is he a Home and Away star?
OK so it is an Australian film about the Camino so it will be interesting to see if it becomes another Crocodile Dundee type cult movie for people like you in Canada
Let me make it clear I am NOT looking for any "recommendations" as my work is all "hobby mode" - I was merely wondering if Camino pilgrims in general were using Google SatNav for walking same as they (and most of the world) does in a car?
But putting that aside I have now convinced Google that...
I would first politely ask you if YOU have worked out why you are wanting to do it again. You don't have to give her the same answer but it seems you should work that out first before you take on the wife
The main aspect of this movie I liked was the "structure" which Emilio and Marty came up with for Emilio's first big direction project. All new directors try to aspire to the genius of Clint Eastwood eg M Night Shyamalan
There is only one Clint movie where he kills himself but that was at the...
Sarah started it with her tirade to Tom calling him Boomer accusing him of all manner of illegal acts for which he was now "doing penance". By then Tom and Joost had an "understanding" and as Joost kept referring to his fat problem Tom called him fatman AND it was taken as a "term of...
And WHY do you think Emilio/Marty MADE them unlikeable? (particularly the sad character of Sarah) A clue is from the director himself who says the movie is about Americans "have lost the plot".
And "transformations"? there were NONE - sarah kept smoking and said these things never work and...
