If you walk as you have indicated then the likelyhood is you will finish stronger than when you started. A question might be "Will I be mentally ready for a July trip having just walked 800km or will I be mentally sated?
Hi Matt
Your story is, to me, a familiar one and not just relating to Camino. The matters you mentioned might well be call spiritual issue or matters on meaning. I have found finding a Spiritual Director very helpful in finding my way through the fog of lostness. If you decide to seek one out...
I agree. I was dissapointed in myself on my last Camino. On reflection and on seeing the outcome of that total experience and its benefits to since then I now think it went just fine.
Hi gayeh
You might consider the basic priciple that we are good for what we train for. If you want to walk the Camino with a 9kg pack then just train or it and all being equal, all should be well.

Thanks for this blog as it taps into a lifelong experience for me. I’m 69 and I put my first pack on when I was 18 and at this stage in my life feel almost naked if I don’t have the pack on my back.
I have completed three French Caminos since 2013 and had planned to do one last...
I hope to walk with my grandson and daughter when they turn 12. Will they get "it"? I think they will get "it" for them. I hope the journey together will have its own reward as well. I remind myself that we are all different and what speaks to us on our camino is uniquely our and potentially...
I identify with Albertagirl and some of Camino Chrissy. I go withour expectations and never cease to be amazed and what I learn about myself and the next steps to take in my life. I am available to the Divine and not dissappointed. I have walked the French Camino 3 times and I see and learned...
