Which month has flowers blooming in the Camino? Is April Rainy?
Last year I walked through fields of poppies mid May, it was beautiful! But the sunflowers weren’t open yet. I walked 2 weeks in the middle part of the french way. I think if you start first week of May in St Jean Pied du Port or Roncesvalles you will have a beautiful spring camino.- Sacha

What about “té con leche”?😀
Spain has tea. You can rest assured that every café and restaurant will have atleast black tea, chamomile, mint tea, mostly green tea. Other tea’s and infusion are less common. If you want black tea with milk ask for “te negro con leche a parte” (black tea with milk on the side)- Sacha

I see you are more worried about the cost of normal food.. There is enough food available everywhere you go except maybe in the mornings, easily fixed by buying something the evening before. I wouldn´t worry too much about the price of food on the camino. You can get a pilgrims menu for roughly 10-12 euros that include water, wine, starter, main meal and desert. Otherwise try to find albergues with kitchens so you can prepare your own food that you buy in the grocery store. Food in...- Sacha

Having spouse join for final 100km, or meet in Santiago - I’m thinking it’s not a great idea…
Personally I don’t think it’s a good idea. You would both be in completely different mindsets. What I did was (start SJPP) I met up with my husband one day in Burgos. That was nice, also no pressure. Meeting in Madrid a few days later however does sound like a nice idea.- Sacha
