    Yes, on average, it's been scientifically proven that around 4 or 5% of the general population can be classified as psychopaths. It's not my opinion. It's just facts. It isn't unrealistic to conceive of some of these going on a Camino.

    This is excellent advice. When I walked the VdlP in January, I noticed a few pilgrims camped in tents along the way. Tents are more comfortable - you get a "home" for the night - but you will inevitably stand out and some farmers (quite rightly) will not take kindly to you camping on their land...
