    When I was asked where I’m from I said america. Then I was always,always asked from where, so I said Arizona. It led to whole conversations because they usually wanted to pin it down. I’m always amazed how familiar people from other parts of the world are with geography.

    I’m in Spain now and have been to both Orange and Vodaphone and both say they can’t help me because I have an e-sim. Im going back to Vodaphone again this afternoon and show them an article from Apple support. Otherwise, I guess I’ll buy one of those plans mentioned in this thread

    My personal experience. I don’t know about non-Spanish banks but I suppose you could research this yourself.

    The banks in Spain only change USD for people who have an account with them. So I recommend not to have a lot of money on you that you can’t spend. And if a local brings you to their bank there’s a big commission fee. U
