Save the Bottom Bunks for the Elderly

Coleen, go girl go! I am 67 and walked my first Camino Frances last Fall. Crawling up to Roncesvalles Pass I questioned myself, what the hell was I thinking.. it was, is, the adventure of a life time.. Buen Camino!

Bringing backpack on plane as a carry-on

hola Peter Fransiscus, I am planning to put my poles and forbidden cabin stuff in my back-pack and check it in.. now what about the securing the straps and belt and all that, would it be safer to pull the rain cover over everything? all this security makes me nervous..
