    Luggage advice needed 2022

I used "stow your bag" service in Madrid. It is by the Atocha Train Station close to the Prado museum and park. https://www.stowyourbags.com/en/shop/madrid/luggage-storage-atocha-station/?gclid=CjwKCAjw6raYBhB7EiwABge5KjheTESQrMFvVd9U4-9NL9O-SVwhstTartMeeNSKSkaJYLm1FMIMTxoCBPMQAvD_BwE Buen...

    Trekking poles as carry on?

I left Santiago on Iberia this time and had to check the poles. Most people had them. It was made more evident when the poles all came down the luggage ramp together. Best to your journey. Elin

    Trekking poles as carry on?

Traveled with on board poles everywhere for three years to and from Santiago with no problems. In April on Iberia was the first time they did not allow poles.. There were so many people with them and we all had to tape them and put them in the hold luggage. Good luck. Elin

LIVE from the Camino Fed Up...

We are a society of instant everything. I walked my first Camino in 2010. I had great expectations. Softly the path, energy, magic, Mother Earth, lay lines, God, the Universe, or all of the above opened my heart, soul and mind to an experience both microscopic and cosmic. My gratitude for...

    Keep the trail clean!

Thank you Ray for the reminder. I walked a day on the Camino with a Basque man, the CanMan who picked up all the cans. When we parted he was up to 14 and passing other trash bins, looking for a recycle bin. I was humbled because that day, I questioned adding a postage stamp to my postcard. He...

Advice for best plan to reassure my (understandably) concerned family

HI Gardener59. I am a woman who walked the French Camino solo when I was 65 and never felt alone. Since then I had Some medical issues. I was determined to walk the Camino and last year, 5 years later at 70 and solo I walked the last 200K of the Poetuguese Camino. My family was so concerned...

    Rain Gear Product opinions please

Love the Packa. I did seal the seams. I could not figure out why it came with big zipper openings from underneath the sleeves to the side seams. Dah, it took one wearing to realize that if I did not use the zippers, it doubled as my own personal sauna. I could wear it as a pack cover on days...

You know it's weird but people pack it anyway

It reminds me of a quote, "we pack our fears."
