    Proper Bag Transfer Etiquette

I shipped my bag up to O'Cebreiro. When I checked into the municipal (xunta) albergue. I was told that they do not accept bag deliveries and that my bag would be in one of the restaurants later in the day. Turned out that my bag was in the restaurant closest to the municipal albergue and had...

Camino as 17 with 18 year old friend.

Running shoes, not boots! Pack light and have fun.

    Discouraged in Florida

I find the first half of a Camino to be physical and the second half to be mental. You'll be fine! Oh, and listen to some good podcasts and books on tape.

    Beware of Stranger's Kindness - :)

Always ask a teenage girl to take your picture; they get it.

    Leon hotels

The Paradores in Leon is fantastic and a good price for a Paradore. Plus, the Camino is just outside the front door. I also recommend the "Pilgrim Dinner"; its a little more expensive than other pilgrim dinners you'll have but you wont be disappointed.

23 y/o American looking for help planning to my first Camino!

LIVE from the Camino Best fine dining

The pilgrim meal at the Paradour in Leon was outstanding for 30 Euros. Probably a $100.00 meal in the states.

Reflections after Camino Frances May 2017

Try Injinji toe sock liners with thin wool outers. Just did the entire CF with no blisters. I wore an Asics running shoe a size and a half larger than usual most of the way and used my Hoka hiking boots on rainy days and rough trails. Carry lots of KT tape and put it on before you get the...

    Buses on the Camino

It's an easy and comfortable bus ride from Burgos to the Madrid airport on the ALSA Bus Line. The Burgos bus station is about a block from the main entrance to the Cathedral. I think it takes a little bit longer than by train but the location of the Burgos bus station and arrival inside the...

But would it fit in my backpack...?

That's neat! Freeze some and eat it when you complete the trip.
