My friend & I found an American Express bank card at an ATM in Arzua & would like to reunite it with the owner whose name is on the card.
I am hoping the lady is on this Forum & reads this but barring that, am looking for suggestions on how to get it back to her.
I will turn it in at the...
Thank you for the explanation.......it was I who was wondering what the difference was,
I had already downloaded the Wise Pilgrim App and wasn't sure which version I had until you said the pad version had the guidebook in it. Now I know that that is the version I have.
Mark: I am travelling this May & just reading your post now.
Did you end up booking the Alsa bus from the Madrid Airport to Leon?
If so, what was the ride like as far as comfort / crowdedness goes?
Has anyone stayed at the Albergue Casa del Pererino or La Rosa del Agua in El Acebo? Or, perhaps both?
Right now I have the option to choose and I am trying to decide which place to stay at…..
I would appreciate any first hand knowledge.
I purchased my credetial through Ivar ]this Forum -- seelect Forum Store on top bar].
My friend & I are also starting in Leon. Can I ask when you are planning to walk?
We start May 25th & thought perhaps we'd be on the Camino at the same tome........
I am also planning to do the climb with fresh legs in the morning. However, my friend & I will stop the night in Las Herrerias rather than in Vega de Valance.
I stayed at the Hotel Boutique Museo Burgos -- loved it. Very close to the Museum of Human Evolution and a short walk to lots of stores, banks, farmacias, restaurants & the catherdral.
We walked through Orrison this past May on our way to Borda -- unfortunately for us, a dense fog blanketed the Pyrennes and so we never really got to see the views everyone raves about. I loved my stay at Borda --- the host was very genial and we had a wonderful communal supper during which...

Thank you .... this is good news indeed. We are staying at the Hotel Rural Papasol which I believe is in the same vicinity as your lodgings were.
Thank you for this information. I have looked at the website & I have exchanged several emails but am getting conflicting information which is why I asked you because you've been there. The last response I got when I queried how to get to the site was "I am sorry. There are no means of...
Just to clarify --- did you catch the bus at the alburgue or was there a "depot" where everyone met to catch it? Where/how did you get passes (tickets) to the sites?
You could be right about me being to early but I would like to have some first-hand info to use as a general guideline for my stay in Atapuerca. Thank you.
Thanks for eatery tip.........I really like their ad/logo:
"Thousands of years ago Homo sapiens arrived in Atapuerca.
He collected the fruits, learned to hunt, discovered the mysteries of fire ... and cooked.
It is time to enjoy eating."
Sounds like a place I will check out ......
Thank you for that information.
Can you tell me if the tour bus from Atapuerca out to the site operates daily? How many times per day?
I ask because I am having a difficult time getting clear responses from the Atapuerca contact omline site and I read on a post that the Atapuerca bus only...
