    Well the lucky thing about us who are far sighted is reading glasses are easy to come by at stores, unlike the near sighted folks prescription glasses. Although I have lost 2 very expensive prescription progressive glasses. *cry* But at least I can get by with drugstore reading glasses. Good luck!

    Are you kidding? I can add yet another reason for me to not visit Australia. Especially after my friend from Melbourne telling me of snakes INSIDE his home. Now land leeches. No thank you. I'm too much of a scaredy cat.

    Sarria to SDC Poles/sticks?

    If you change your mind, (you may know this) most backpacks have loops for you to put your pole points into and a loop up higher to strap em down. And a quick Google search, apparently they also sell kits to add this to a pack that doesn't already have it. I am also debating on trekking poles...
