    Although I really appreciate the information on Gronze, the price mentioned on the site does not necessarily match what is being charged, especially through booking.com. Useful though for sorting out which is the most and least expensive options.

    I prefer to pay cash, as I don’t like having to face credit card bills after a trip, but it seems post Covid there is a move to credit card use. With some of our pre-booked accommodation, the credit card is charged in advance.
