Welcome back Alex. I too have missed your posts. And like you my knees are now very dodgy. I will continue to Camino (slowly) and hope to meet you out there one day.
You have about 7 weeks. The Portuguese from Porto will only take you about 2 weeks &, in my opinion, from Lisbon may be a bit daunting for you. Go for the Camino del Norte. I haven’t done it yet but will let you know more after July!
Buen Camino whichever way you go.
Hi Ola, I’m planning on starting from Irun late June. I’m walking alone. I am very much looking forward to setting my own timetable, walking, stopping, eating etc whenever it pleases me. I hope to see you out there somewhere & we may, or may not, walk together.
Go for it. You're fit and keen. Everything will fall into place. As Grayland says most of us just plan in advance because we can't go now.
Buen Camino.
Falcon, not everyone needs to lose weight. I am trying to fatten my husband up prior to our Camino Portugues in June, I'm frightened he might waste away!
