Thanks so much for your detailed reply Gerry. I really hope we can do the Camino next year. We are not at all religious, but something about it really appeals. The age of it all perhaps - coming from Australia, we get pretty impressed by " old stuff". Cheers, Lisa.

Sounds like a great walk. My husband & I re really hoping to do the Camino next April/May. Can I ask what your budget was allowing for the pensions etc? We are likely to be on a pretty tight budget & would be interested to know approx. costs if refuges are full or whatever & we need to use...
