Hello SusieQ (I simply ENJOY playing that song on a guitar.... believe me !!). You may want to dedicate the walk to your brother. You may want to consider doing The Way in a few more days than already planned. I did my first Frances in 2.5 month, though this included hanging out in Santiago for...
@falcon269... its funny I didn't really notice the descent so much. A bit of climbing but I thought it was ok. Yeah, walking into Triacastela is so much fun. Buen Camino :)
Kathleen.... another thought. Why not hit Santiago from Porto (very reasonable buses) in time for the Easter services. So near and you don't want to miss it, do you? Cheers :) Caesar

Yes Rebekah... who knows!!! Am glad you'd be in Samos. Try and get as much out of the beautiful Monastery there. Take their tour (its fantastic), meet some of the monks (if you can), check out their services. Its worth it. Buen Camino :)
I will arrive in Santiago on 19 December 2015. My head is full of ideas. I will, however, go to Portomarin to finish my unfinished bit that I had to discontinue last month. After that..... The Holy Spirit guide me. Buen Camino :)
