There was also two buses, the first arrived before 1800, there was a queue but we all got on. The first bus goes to SJPP direct. I am not sure if there will always be two buses but it should reduce the journey time to something comparable with the train. Buen camino :)
Bus tickets for rail replacement buses can be purchased from the autiomatic bus ticket machine, not the automatic train ticket machine. The machines are located in the main ticket hall. Do not be alarmed if there are no staff, should you need help, as there is a bell near the information office...
Hello everyone!
It looks like the train from Bayonne to SJPP is cancelled! Has anyone any suggestions an alternative way I can travel to SJPP from Bayonne via public transport or shared private hire?
Thanks ☺️
The flight is already booked, with flight credit that was about to expire, and I understand a taxi from Pamplona can cost up to €140 at the weekend. Unfortunately, I can’t risk having to pay that individually, it would blow my budget.

I’ve contacted and see if they are able to depart a little later.

However, the next train to Bayonne from Hendaye Train Station departs at 1504, which means I will miss the 1420 departure from Bayonne to SJJP. The next...
Just wondering, are people who have done this before confident that if I just show up in Pamplona around 1300 in the afternoon, then I will find pilgrims to share a taxi to SJJP?
Thank you. I did make a booking a few weeks ago and asked to share with as many people as possible. However, I leave in three days and they are yet to respond to any but my initial email. I will keep trying!
