    Im pretty sure it will be confiscated. Either check ur bag or leave it at home. You can always buy one on the Camino.

    Take a taxi. They are easy to find and there is a fixed rate. Better than trying to figure out public transportation.

    Flying from the US

    I flew Iberia from JFK and they were very h3lpful. The connection in Madrid was only 55 min but they fast tracked me and I and my bag made it in plenty of time. I have stopped flying American airlines because i have had so many issues with delayed and cancelled flights.

    Should be no problem. I think Iberia international flights deplane at T4. Even if it flight does not there is really good transportation between terminals. I made a 50 minute flight connection with time to spare.

    Thanks for the advice. I’m flying business class and hope that makes a difference getting through passport control. Many airlines funnel their business class passengers through a separate line. I think I’ll keep my pack with me rather than check it. why take the chance.

    I have a 55 minute connection in Madrid, flying in on Iberia and connecting with another Iberia flight to Santiago de Compostela. Is that really enough time to collect ur checked bag, clear customs and passport control and catch the domestic flight? Seems dicey.
