Terminal switch in Madrid
You did not mention if you had to negotiate customs. If so, I would say 2 hours is on the edge of making it. And beware, if your Pamplona flight is on a separate ticket, and you miss the flight, the airline may simply cancel your ticket and not even say thank you Buen Camino Bob- Robert Long

Bus route besides alsa?
Take a taxi. Last year my best friend and I walked our third Camino and we made it our Camino. More than once we started our day with a taxi ride. They seem to be numerous, timely, and not terribly expensive. The Alsa bus is only once per day. Buen Camino- Robert Long

Madrid to SJDP
Good morning I have done it two ways. First I flew from SFO to Madrid, then flew to Biarritz. In Biarritz we hooked up with another Pilgrim who had ordered a van and drove to SJPP. From Kentucky to Camino Frances

Taxis from Pamplona
Last Sept, after an upsetting missed flight with Iberian Air, my hiking buddy and I took a train to Pamplona. We met another pilgrim on the train, picked up a fourth in the train station, walked out front and hailed a taxi. They are waiting for you. 90 minutes and 95 E later we were in SJPP...- Robert Long

How to get from Madrid to St Jean-Pied-du-Port?
There is a 7:30AM flight from Madrid to Biaritz France on Iberia Air. Then a short train ride to SJPD or take a van. Last year one way was around $75 US Buen Camino- Robert Long

Pamplona to Saint Jean Pied de Port
We took a taxi from the Pamplona Train Station. Cost Approx 100E. We had four guys in the car so 25 each. ride took about 90minutes. Not a road for someone who is subject to car sickness. Four old guys walking Buen Camino- Robert Long
