The Renfe ticket office is right next to the Pilgrim Office in Santiago. Although I tried multiple times to buy a Santiago to Madrid ticket online I had to wait until I reached Santiago to make the purchase.
I checked my pack in 2011 ( one plane change) and in 2012 ( direct to Madrid). Both from the US. No problems. I will also check in about 10 days because I have collapsible walking poles that I can't live without and no way will those get through US carry on security.
I don't expect problems.
Hi:
I'm walking from SJPP to Logrono in late May (by myself). I have a ticket to Toulouse from the states. Due to flight times, I arrive in Toulouse very late in the afternoon on the 17th. Any recommendations for a place to stay?
Next day 18 May I will take a train from Toulouse to SJPP...
Thanks -- I've got a ticket to Toulouse but haven't purchased a return. It may be too late to try Iberia, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.
Hi:
I'm walking from SJPdP to Logrono at the end of May (can't take more time off). I see rail connects Logrono to other parts of Spain. Does anyone have a recommendation for getting from Logrono to a city with a large enough airport so that the flight back home won't be outrageously expensive?
