    I am now leaving st Jean . Restaurants asking for the pass most everytime. It was a bit difficult to find a bed but finally found this gite. It had many empty beds. The owner was very warm.

    How disappointing. FWIW Air Canada is my carrier from Ottawa to Montreal and on to France. Good luck finding an alternative flight.

    Food for thought.....Icelands nation airline flies out of montreal and toronto, with 1 stop in Reykjzvik, on the way to Paris. It is my understanding the same options are available with a final destination of Madrid. The prices i have seen were lower than others , at least they were a few weeks...

    I think the point is the vaccination process is picking up speed and as it does the rules may change and the need to check the government websites to whatever country you are travelling is necessary
