How did your camino ingles go? I was hoping for a report. Did you stay at Dona Maria?
Unfortunately our camino had to be cancelled due to health issues and instead am just having to read the forum posts.

We walked it in June this year it was well marked we also used this year's brierley . If you take any alternative routes on it they are not so well marked.
We have now returned and On this section were pleased that there are more good options: cafe in way out of Betanzos open at 7.30 am
Cafe between cos and presedo a surprise to us we had coffee.

Walked the alternative / old route to sigueiro today used Brierley. It was a bit worrying at first but instructions good then old yellow arrows became visible on the trees.
We have seen a lot more today mainly in cafes along the way. We walked from betanzos and we're pleased to find more cafes than expected. We had a lovely meal in Bruma where there were15 pilgrims eating
We are on the Camino ingles now. Yesterday we arrived in ferrol loads of cafes open for food we had coffee at the port. We did not pass any cafes after leaving ferrol until we reached Naron. We bought an empanadas from ferrol and ate it in a lovely park with picnic tables. An evening meal was...
No food on Sunday at hotel Kensington today. We walked to pension marogto in neda but no food served. Just had pizza and salad ok at urimar. As we had no cafes Enroute after leaving ferrol we were in need of a decent meal. Will need menu del dia itomorrow ? In vilar colo
Thanks we will stay there. We will decide later about food. If we haven't had much all day then will eat there. If we find a large lunch we may just have a snack in the evening.
Make sure your friend has a rucksack with a good waist strap. I have sciatica and even a small rucksack gives me pain. My camino one with a waist strap 35l is perfect and I can carry 7kg without a problem.
I booked to stay in a band b on the ingl es they suggested correos to me.
On booking.com you can book dinner for 35 euros a head breakfast for 7.50. I have booked to stay there. I just wondered if that was correct and also was it amazing thanks
