    Shoe change might be the thing. I found my feet will only tolerate Keen sandals, and wear them at home too. For “dressy” I have tall black boots that my feet accept.

    My feet will NOT tolerate boots. Keen sandals work for me. Thickish smartwool socks too.

    I tried some boots before leaving home and my feet totally rebelled. Then walked with shoes like those you showed. Okay for awhile but not really comfortable. So, got some Keen sandals in Burgos. Love them and still use them.
