Ahh.. good info-
I tried to go to my Phones settings (iPhone12) and it indicated no E-sim- I can't even remember where i looked on my phone..?-- I'll take a closer look at their Plans- do you remember roughly what the costs were to add the 15GB- I'm wondering if i'm just better going with...
Thank you— we can all learn— it’s €20 well spent.
I’ve got t-Mobile- and I know theirs don’t do E-Sim..
I’ll turn in the International Plan— but have a local SIM card would/could be handy too…
Absolutely great info-thank you.
Yes— very helpful.
The Altus is “thinner” that I thought…but that’s okay.. it’s meant to protect me from getting wet—and seems really good wind proof too.
Thank you very much for the detailed explanation.
I was just thinking.. how many layers I will need...
Ohh.. sorry for the confusion…
I love mine—I’ll be using mine again… I like how it can be buttoned down in the back when not wearing a backpack… very useful.
You can buy on Trekkin website.
I’m in the US- I paid 57 or 59$ max.. tgat included shipping from Spain.
I ordered about 10-12 days ago.
I got it in the mail today…. It’s great-/ perfect for my trip. I’ll be on my Camino in mid-October.
I got my Altus rain coat today in the mail
It’s perfect- the length is perfect.. but I definitely need a jacket underneath— I’ll be looking at getting a jacket for warmth now 👍
Great ideas….
I got a “Dry bag” my Backpack is a 40l and I got a 45l dry bag… that I’m using essentially as a dry liner…. Lots of ppl were saying that Pack covers were basically worthless… so I went the Dry bag route.
I’ve got some Foot glide for my feet. I’ve been waking/hiking at home in...
Great suggestion—- I can see that as being a good action plan.
I got an update from USPS— my Altus is traveling the World without me… “it” just left TheNeatherlands 😂-should be delivered on Saturday 👍
Great real world feedback …thank you so much— my Altus will be delivered probably in the next 10 days… I’m excited. I’ll def check out the Black Diamond Stormshell 👍
Can I buy Trekking Poles in Santiago?
It makes sense to buy them in Spjp
I know ppl have mentioned Decathlon but I haven’t heard about on in Santiago?
