I’m starting the Camino Frances from SJPD 4/3. I’m still on the fence whether to take my ultralight down jacket. I’m bringing a good rain jacket/shell and multiple thin layers (merino wool). Will that be enough?
I just received my ultralight Enlightened Revelation APEX Sleeping Quilt. I have a 34L pack, and I’m looking for the best way to compress it so I can pack it inside to keep it dry. This quilt was not cheap! Thanks in advance!!!
I know I’m going to walk in Hoka Speedgoats, but on the fence whether to go with the Gortex ones. I’m starting the Camino Frances on the 3rd of April. I’d appreciate any feedback! Buen Camino!
Thank you! I’m definitely taking more than just a liner, but haven’t decided on what yet but leaning towards a quilted blanket. You’ll probably catch up to me! 😂. I plan on taking my time and spend extra rest days in some of the nice towns.
I like this option, especially the adjustment at your feet. I don’t like anything too tight. Also, it equally expensive to my other option, th Sea to Summit down spark bag. Muchos Gracias!
On another note, if I decide to bring sleeping bag, should I get a down vs synthetic. I’m wondering if down makes it susceptible to bedbugs!
Thank you, Elaine
